Thank you for visiting our website.
Riverside families and community members, I
am honored to be entering my fourth year as principal of Riverside Elementary.
Although making the right decision on your child’s mode of education may be
difficult for your family this school year, I assure you that we at Riverside
Elementary are doing everything we can to continue to be a community of
learners including teachers, parents, students and staff; while ensuring safety
measures are in place for everyone.
Although the start to this school year is
unconventional, we will continue to uphold high standards with a commitment to
improving the educational process, using team strategies, working directly with
and involving both the community and families, while centering on the whole
child and student success. Our school is committed to meeting the needs
of every child.
We are committed to helping all students
achieve not only academic success, but also becoming productive and responsible
members of the community by creating a learning environment that fosters the
social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of all students. This
school year we will begin implementing strategies from The Leader in Me to help
students realize their full leadership potential, while providing training and
workshops to help families further develop these skills at home.
I look forward to working with you as we
create a school where the staff is valued, parents are welcome, and students
are engaged and excited about learning. There are many ways you can get
involved at our school. You may choose to join our PTA or SAC, volunteer in the
classroom, or attend field trips; just to name a few. If you have not
already, I invite you to sign up as an ADDitions volunteer by clicking here.
I also encourage you to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
We will make this another great
year…TOGETHER!
Wishing you well,
Kimberly
